PrintPrinte-maile-mail

USAID / ERA was born from the initiative of President Barack Obama in the fight against food insecurity "Feed the Ruture." It gives high priority to education and research in agriculture to improve the curriculum, increase exports and to fight against hunger, food insecurity and poverty in Senegal.

USAID / ERA will be conducted in perfect synergy with the various agricultural policies of Senegal, with a large private sector involvement.

USAID / ERA will provide a forum for exchange between a consortium of U.S. universities (Virginia Tech University, Michigan State University, Purdue University, Tuskegee University, University of Connecticut) and the universities, research institutes, and training centers in agriculture in Senegal.
